Percorso assoluto per error_page in nginx?

Esiste un modo per impostare un percorso assoluto per nginx error_pages? Non assoluto come in http://, ma assoluto come in /usr/var/nginx/errors/500.html.

sicuro che si può, ma in modo indiretto:

error_page 500 /500.html; 
location = /500.html { 
     root /usr/var/nginx/errors; 
     allow all; 
     internal; 
}
