il gancio è corretto e funziona. puoi inviare mail su qualsiasi cambiamento di stato anche se lo stato dell'ordine è appena creato come "in attesa". il wc() -> mailer sta usando la classe di posta php, quindi puoi anche usare la funzione wp_mail per inviare mail e aggiungere allegati ecc. abbastanza semplice da usare se sai come inviare mail con script php. –
